Device for measuring high and low pressure in VW/Audi FSI engines
(GDI)   and similar (PSA, BMW-MINI)
FSI PRESSURE MEASUREMENT 
FSI engines work in the same way as Common Rail diesel engines, i.e. they are equipped with a low pressure circuit and a high pressure circuit.
Set equipment:
- 0-250 bar pressure gauge with a four-way connector for connecting hoses
- 0-10 bar pressure gauge with a T-piece for connecting hoses
- hose M12x1.5 / M12x1.5 - 2 pcs   
- hose M12x1.5 / M14X1.5 - 2 pcs
- mini hose (250 bar pressure gauge) for draining fuel after measuring high pressure
FSI engines work in the same way as CommonRail diesel engines, i.e. they are equipped with a low pressure circuit and a high pressure circuit.
 
The device is able to measure both circuits and is equipped with pressure gauges:
– up to 10 bar (low pressure)
– up to 250 bar (high pressure) 
 
INSTRUCTION
– Attach the hoses to the T-piece,
– Unscrew the steel pipe connecting the high pressure “rails” to one of the injectors, and screw the hose ends to the rail and to the injector nozzle.
 
Low pressure
 
First   connect a pressure gauge with a range of 0-10 bar .   
With the engine off and the ignition key in the "OFF" position, the pressure must be 0. Turn the key on (without starting the engine). Immediately after activating the injection, activate the low-pressure pump and the pressure must reach approximately 5-6 bar. If the pressure does not reach the required value, the low-pressure circuit is not functioning properly. Therefore, check the low-pressure pump, filter, etc.
 
High blood pressure:
        connect a T-piece with a 0-250 bar pressure gauge to the hoses remaining in the system
Start the engine and check that the pressure with the vehicle stationary is approximately 50 bar, and that when accelerating, the pressure reaches a value between 100 and 110 bar. If the pressure with the vehicle stationary is significantly lower than 50 bar, the high-pressure pump or regulator is faulty. If the pressure is higher than 110 bar, the regulator is faulty.
